About GER

“Connection is vital to sustainability: connection to the Earth, connection within ourselves, and connection with each other… and we cannot leave a single neighborhood behind.”

Haley Dahl

Why Rockford?

  • Like many other post-industrial cities, Rockford has been working to overcome its urban challenges for decades.
  • Rockford is currently working towards a more sustainable future by addressing its social, environmental, and economic issues.
  • My goal is to facilitate conversations on these important issues among residents and regional stakeholders, encourage community members to consider sustainability within their day-to-day lives, and urge local leaders to do the same on an inclusive, city-wide scale.
